Body & Sol
Hey Solmates...
My name is Jada Elease, and I’m the heart behind Body & Sol. My journey began at the age of five as a dancer, a passion that carried me through an arts high school and into college, where I majored in psychology and minored in environmental dance. While studying, I found a deep connection to movement therapy, focusing on helping children, the elderly, and people with disabilities heal through movement.

When the world shifted during COVID, I came home and found myself struggling with depression. That’s when yoga entered my life and completely transformed my mental health. It gave me peace, balance, and clarity in a time of chaos. However, as I immersed myself in the practice, I noticed something—there weren’t many people who looked like me in these spaces. I realized I wanted to break the stigma and make yoga socially acceptable and accessible to people who, like me, might not feel represented in this world.

Later, I became a doula after learning about the disparities women, especially women of color, face during childbirth. Many mothers feel unsupported and disconnected from themselves and their babies during this transformative time. I wanted to change that by offering sacral and womb healing—both physically and spiritually—to help mothers reclaim their strength, connection, and joy. My work then expanded into assisted stretch therapy, allowing me to guide people on a deeper journey of healing, mobility, and self-awareness.

My mission with Body & Sol is to build an environment where all people can connect to their bodies, embrace their sols, and unlock a deeper understanding of themselves and their purpose. I aim to bring creativity and artistry into every practice while ensuring these spaces are welcoming and inclusive for those who often feel unseen.

Healing happens in many forms—even when we don’t realize we’re healing. I’m here to walk that journey with you. Welcome to Body & Sol.
